Instructor Pilot

Gyro Instructor Pilot assigned to instruct at the Army's only Gyro
Instructor Pilot Course. Responsible for the training and qualification of rotary wing
instructor pilots in the AW-55J/P aircraft. Instructs contact flight training and combat
skills flight training, including Air-to-Air Stinger. Classroom instruction includes
aerodynamics, and other aviation related subjects. Recommends student disposition, provides
counselling and submits detailed written and oral reports to support training. As Company
Student Records Officer responsible for ensuring all records are prepared and maintained in
accordance with USAAVNC Standard Operating Procedures and directives. Also performs duties
as the Casualty Assistance Officer. Maintain tactical and technical proficiency as an AW-55
Instructor Pilot.

CW5 Jordan's performance has been truly superior. His meticulous attention to
detail, precise communication abilities and dedication to training have been proven through
an unblemished record of success. He has trained and graduated highly trained instructor
pilots ready to perform and instruct cavalry operations, stinger qualification and night
vision device operations. He has flown over 1300 accident-free hours including 100 hours of
night vision goggles. CW5 Jordan's dedication to duty has been exemplary. He was always
ready to volunteer and perform any duty. His expertise has been requested by the Advanced
Combat Skills Section on numerous occasions and he has conducted numerous evaluations in all
phases of Initial Entry Rotary Wing training. He has performed his duties as the Company
Student Records Officer with precision. CW5 Jordan's desire to succeed is evident through
his pursuance of an MBA and maintaining a 4.0 grade point average. He selflessly assists
others during his off-duty time sponsoring a soldiers family while the soldier is assigned in
Saudi Arabia. CW5 Jordan is a true professional and asset to the Army.
CW5 Jordan has vast potential. Recommend he be assigned at company and
battalion level as a standardization officer. Promote ahead and select for attendance at the
Master Warrant Officer Training Course when eligible.
CW5 Jordan is a highly motivated and aggressive officer who performs all duties in a
truly outstanding manner. He is an exceptional officer with unlimited potential in any task
he may be called on to complete. He has done a exceptional job as the Company Casualty
Assistance Officer training other individuals on such duties and responsibilities. His
innovative approach and technical proficiency as an instructor are especially noteworthy.
CW5 Jordan is a truly exceptional officer with unlimited potential and should be promoted to
CW6 immediately.
